Your video stays in your browser. No server ever sees it, because there is no server. Private by design, not by promise.
No file size cap. No watermark. No "upgrade to cut longer than 60 seconds." If your machine can open it, we can cut it.
No sign-up, no email, no tracking. Open the page, drop a file, download your clip. That's the whole flow.
Yes. No trial, no premium tier, no hidden caps. The app runs entirely on your computer, so there's no server cost to recoup.
No. Video processing happens in your browser using WebAssembly. The file never leaves your device — you can verify this in your browser's Network tab, or by cutting a video while offline after the first load.
MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI and most common container formats. Because we use stream copy (no re-encoding), the output keeps the same codec and quality as the original.
Practically, it's limited only by your device's memory. Large files (multi-GB) work on desktops with enough RAM. Mobile browsers have tighter memory limits, so very large files may struggle there.
The first visit downloads the video processing engine (~30 MB) and caches it locally. Every subsequent visit loads instantly from cache. We load it on-demand so you only pay the download cost if you actually use the tool.
Yes, on modern mobile browsers. Performance and maximum file size depend on your device's memory — desktops handle larger files more comfortably.
We use stream copy, which means we copy the existing video data to a new file without re-encoding it. That's orders of magnitude faster than tools that re-encode, and it preserves the original quality perfectly.
